Today...was the day I've been waiting for...for a long time. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is OUT in Malaysian Cinema! Went to watch it after class today with my family. After reading the book for so long and waiting for the movie to come out since last year, I have to confess I was quite disappointed with it. =( Don't worry peeps, no spoilers here. Wouldn't wanna spoil it for you guys now would I? But yeah...the storyline was fine but there were some details which were different from the book. Though only those who read the book might complain I guess. My dad complained that it was boring. -.-'' Oh well, what do you expect?? You didn't even watch the previous ones properly before! And so, that's pretty much it. I can't really say much about the movie without giving away the plot and storyline and risk spoiling it for everyone who reads this blog. A word of caution for those who read the book beforehand and expects the movie to be exactly like what J.K. Rowling wrote, IT IS NOT! Oh well, the bigger the expectation, the harder the fall I guess. Guess now I'll just wait for the 7th and final book to come out in exactly 10days time!
THE movie
THE book
Haha...anyway, tomorrow is J Card Day at One Utama. Which can only mean one thing for me. SALES!!! =D I'm so going there after my classes tomorrow. I have tons of things I wanna buy. Utar's schedule is really killing me. T.T I'm in the midst of having my mid-terms and I just sat for my Marketing test today. Hell doesn't even begin to describe the paper. Or it might just be my fault of studying last minute as usual. Hmm...* ponders* =p
Ah...and since I haven't been updating for quite awhile (sorry lah, was abit lazy and abit caught up with studying...actually just lazy I think >.>), I guess I should tell you guys that I drove for the first time in my life on Sunday! A real car! Haha...I should probably start at the beginning. =p So on last Sunday, I went for the 6 hours practical class where we were supposed to learn about the various parts of the car, engine and how to do basic maintenance for our own car (read: total and utter boredom and a waste of time). Then after 3 hours of sitting in a classroom stoning, we were separated into groups of three and each group is suppose to get some hands-on experience about learning to recognise the various engine parts of the carl.
Thus, 3 idiots including me were seen crowding around the opened hood of a Kancil on a blazing hot Sunday afternoon trying to identify the engine parts. If that wasn't bad enough, our instructor actually asked us to observe the engine and went off to slack somewhere for almost 10minutes! I felt like a total retard standing in front of the engine pretending I'm interested in actually learning about car engines under a hot sun. Sigh...like I said, a total and complete waste of time. MY time. And just about everyone else's for that matter.
Then we were given another half an hour of break which I spent rotting. Then comes the 'highlight' of my entire day. We were each given a chance to drive the Kancil around the driving school. Nothing much, just a couple of rounds around the driving centre. But since it's my first time ever handling a real car, it was pretty good fun for me. =D At least nobody died when I was driving okay?? To think that 3 people actually placed their lives in my hands that fateful afternoon...Hahaha...hopefully I'll get my L soon and start some proper driving lessons. Car! Wait for meeeeeeee~
Oh p/s again:
Mid-term marks so far :-
1. Management 41/50
2. Web Page Design 74/100
Satisfactory so far I'd say. But I might have spoken a tad too soon. Just wait till my Marketing marks come out and I'll probably be forced to eat my own words. >.>"

Withdrawal Symptoms
I'm still sick. Fever's gone, but still feeling like I'm in hell. One of my friend asked me why did I blogged in Mandarin, "I can't understand Mandarin, so how am I supposed to know what happen to you?" Sorry...I usually blog in Mandarin when I'm feeling a tad emo. =p
So anyway, missed another day of class today. Just wasn't up to waking up at 6+ in the morning to get to class. Plus! I have the mother of all backaches...it's still hurting now! From the time I woke till now... -__-" That's what you get for spending too much time lying in bed. (I was sick since Saturday, so you do the Maths...)
Had a lousy dinner again, as usual. Spend my entire day rotting/gaming/blog reading/chatting/smsing while tomorrow is my Writing for Business mid-term exam. Yea...smarty-skirt aint I? Lols...Now I'm having serious PWS. Serious sh!t...Pasta withdrawal symptoms. Noooo... T_T
Drooling yet? I know you are~

Reunion
Went back to my secondary school on Thursday for my ex-principal's retirement celebration. I haven't been back there eversince I graduated in 2005. Was really quite surprised to see that my old school underwent so many changes in just two years time. Became so nice! At least the walls are no longer pink. XD Met up with all my old friends once again. Some really changed until I almost couldn't recognise them at all. o.o
I was so surprised that the teachers could still remember my name. Haha...because I had trouble remembering a few of theirs. >.<" Heartless, yea, I know. The performances were nothing much, except that I got quite a shock seeing one of my old teacher sang a song dedicated to my ex-principal. Hmm...I have to say she has quite a melodious voice though. =D Loads of performances by both the ex-students and the current students as well...but I didn't take any pictures due to the fact that I couldn't possibly get a nice shot with my lousy phone and those performances weren't the main point of my evening. =p The MAIN POINT is here. Or should I say below? XD
5 of us. Ah...the good old times.
At the corridor where we were always stalking the mirror. =p
Note the squashed face in the middle. LOL
Me, Ai Ling & Czet
Side shot by Pen
Overall it was really fun catching up with all of them. Since it's really hard to get them all together now because everyone is just so busy with their lives. I'm definitely looking forward to the next time we get a chance to meet up!

Recap
Okay...yesterday's post was abit lame...Haha...yea. So now I'm going to do a recap on yesterday and the day before it as the pictures don't really tell much (so much for the 'a picture says a thousand words' theory huh? >.>).
So, we start off with the day before yesterday (which was the day the pictures were taken, fyi). Promised a certain SOMEONE(*cough* you know what to do la *cough*) that I would watch Pirates of the Carribean with her, so ended up watching it after the movie had been screening for so long. And as usual, we were late. Planned on going to 1Utama at around 5pm...ended up reaching there at 6pm due to too much dili-deli-ing at her house. -.-'' BUT, as usual also, my another blur case friend was even later than us. (she is way blurer than me...seriously!I mean, who will be lost in 1Utama??) Went to TGV for the movie since GSC is all sold out (wth..? =.=)...
The movie itself is actually quite nice...but the same definitely CAN'T be applied to the whole cinema-going experience. First of all, I think everyone knows the seats in TGV are kinda small, cramped and uncomfortable (probably the reason why there's practically no queue at the ticket counter -.-), so about 30mins into the movie my neck was already experiencing some major pain. It didn't helped that some idiotic people were sitting directly behind us. And I mean IDIOTIC. I think it was a family of three or something sitting behind us. Gosh, I tell you, the woman has one of the MOST annoying laugh ever. I can hear her laughter filling the whole cinema and it irritates the hell out of me. Sounds so '38'... Then her kid...kept sneezing. Fine, the cinema was kinda cold...I can understand. What I don't understand was WHY CAN'T HE COVER HIS MOUTH??? When he started sneezing I already had a bad feeling....then...while watching Jack Sparrow on screen...achoo!!! And I felt droplets of water on my skin. Wthhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! That is SO disgusting...urgh...
Oh...and thanks Phen for my carrot stick for passing my undang*2 test =) I liked the ice blended mocha alot and Mummy Phen is currently hanging on my bag =p Oh? Who's Mummy Phen? (Hey meanie! Didn't tell me you were at Coffeebean also. Hmph!)
Mummy Phen XD
Then fast forward to yesterday. The day I'm supposed to sit for my Web Page Design mid-term test, which I didn't study for. The test was horrible. Period. The fun part was the Writing for Business class later that day. Not that the lesson was fun, it was dead boring as usual. So I took pictures of my friends slacking/half-listening/daydreaming in class. =p
Apple posing for the camera =)
Brian is SO going to kill me if he sees this XS
Hemin looking blur as usual =p
p/s: excuse the pictures' blurness...lousy camera phone >.<"

Passed~!!!
First of all, just to let you guys know, I slept at 4am in the morning. No...not due to gaming this time. Amazingly, I stayed up to study. No...your eyesight is fine...I really did type STUDY. Sunday is the day I'm supposed to take my undang*2 test. So, being me, I studied my undang*2 the DAY before the exam itself. -.-'' Ended up staying up til 4am in the morning...though I doubt that helped since by the time I finally decided to give up and go to bed, I'm practically seeing stars already.
And I had to be ready by 9am the next morning! So I got out (or should I say staggered out) of my bed at 8am and made it in time just as the uncle come and take me away for my test. I was supposed to be studying in the car on the way to the place (every minute counts! Or so they say...), but I was so sleepy I couldn't even open my eyes all the way. >.> After what seems like 20mins (or was it 15? o.o), we reached Bandar Kinrara. So all of us went down the car (us being another girl and 3 guys plus me) and went up some dingy staircase to an office like place called Myspeed Bandar Kinrara where we're supposed to take my test. Then I remembered. The fella is going to take a photo to put in my L license, presuming that I pass my test, of course. Oh great, so much for not looking like a total idiot in my license. I have a nagging suspicion that my license photo is going to look somewhat like my UTAR student ID. Which, lemme assure you, is definitely NOT a good thing. Let's just say ugly is an understatement of how I look like in my ID.
The moment of truth! After having my photo taken, I went into a room where it looks sorta like a dingy cyber cafe, except that this one has cubicles. I took about 20mins to finish the test (yes, 20mins! I think keep seeing double is one of the reason I took so long -.-''), actually I checked back my answers again okay? So I didn't really take THAT long to finish my entire test. Haha... Final result? I passed~! =D Okay, barely. I got 42/50, which is the minimum passing mark. But hey! I still passed! That's all I ask for. =) So now, I can go shopping later in peace!!! Whee~~~can't wait to start learning how to drive!

Cherrie the lecturer
Conducted my second lecture today. The Fundamentals of Marketing Chapter 3. Now, before you all start screaming in protest as how a 18-year-old can conduct a lecture in front of approximately 100 people, I would like to clarify one thing : It's actually part of my university's new system which requires students to actually conduct lectures in class in a bid to get them to be more involved with the so-called learning process. (Yea right, fat chance...)
So anyway, today is the second lecture I've conducted so far, the first being Management Studies. And as usual, I only prepared the powerpoint slides the night before my presentation. Hahaha =p Oh well... Then this morning I went to class looking like a sleep deprived zombie (Did I mention I HATE classes in the morning?), too sleepy and tired to even start worrying about my presentation.
I just blabbed whatever that was in my paper and within 5mins, I'm done! Curse those people who didn't get what I said. Ended up looking like an idiot repeating the same thing I said earlier when the lecturer asked me to explain further about my topic. Gimme a break okay? I just woke up like less than 2 hours ago and here I am conducting a lecture! The least you could do is pretend to understand what I'm talking about... T_T
But that's not really the worst part of my day so far. After lunch we have one of my [sarcasm]favourite[/sarcasm] class this semester! Actually it's not so much about the subject itself, more like I couldn't stand the lecturer. He is this guy that has a permanent frown on his face ( Sorry I still couldn't remember the name -.-" ). The REAL problem with him is the way he conduct the lecture. Aside from the fact that attending Sociology class is somewhat like attending religious class ( He just go on and on and on about religions and blah blah blah... ), when this guy talks, there is NO main point! I mean like, he would talk and talk and talk about one particular slide and then I can hardly see the point. I mean like, usually when the lecturer is teaching you can see what he or she is trying to tell and write down the important points but with this guy, I just don't get him at all.
Boring stuffs aside, I wanna wish one of my best best friend a very HAPPY 19TH BIRTHDAY girl! Ahhh...I know you guys are curious about who she is right? Right? Aite, here you go~
p/s: Oh, did I mention I'm going shopping during the weekends? XD I'm taking my undang*2 test on Sunday as well, so wish me luck~!! =D

Puppies For Sale
A store owner was tacking a sign above his door that read "Puppies for Sale." Signs like that have a way of attracting small children, and sure enough a little boy appeared under the store owner's sign. "How much are you going to sell the puppies for?" the little boy asked. The store owner replied, "anywhere from $30 to $50." The little boy reached into his pocket and pulled out some change. "I have $2.37" he said. "May I please look at them?"
The store owner smiled and whistled and out of the kennel came Lady, who ran down the aisle of his store followed by five teeny, tiny balls of fur.One puppy was lagging considerably behind. Immediately the little boy singled out the lagging, limping puppy and said, "What's wrong with that little dog?" The store owner explained that the veterinarian had examined the little puppy and had discovered that it didn't have a hip socket. It would always limp. It would always be lame. The little boy became excited. "That is the puppy I want to buy."
The store owner said, "No, you don't want to buy that little dog. If you really want him, I'll just give him to you."The little boy got quite upset. He looked straight into the store owner's eyes, pointing his finger, and said, "I don't want you to give him to me. That little dog is worth every bit as much as all the other dogs and I'll pay full price. In fact, I'll give you $2.37 now and 50 cents a month until I have him paid for."
The store owner countered, "You really don't want to buy this little dog. He is never going to be able to run and jump and play with you like the other puppies." To his surprise, the little boy reached down and rolled up his pant leg to reveal a badly twisted, crippled left leg supported by a big metal brace. He looked up at the store owner and softly replied, "Well, I don't run so well myself, and the little puppy will need someone who understands."
I think this story is just excellent~! Okay okay I know it's a tad long...but bear with me and read all of them. You won't regret it. =D
p/s: I didn't write this. =p
